Sunita M. Torres
Self-Care Is NOT A Sin reframes the way we understand care for ourselves by grounding it in both faith and physiology.
Reverend Sunita M. Torres challenges the belief that self-care is selfish or optional, instead presenting it as essential to our overall well-being—spiritually, mentally, and physically. Through both scripture and science, she highlights how practices that support rest, boundaries, and nervous system regulation are not separate from our faith, but a reflection of it.
Self-care becomes a way to return the body to a place of safety, alignment, and trust in God.
