Vibration and Elevation - Yoga, Scripture and Sacred Stillness

Rev. Sherrell Savage

In Vibration and Elevation: Yoga, Scripture and Sacred Stillness, Rev. Sherrell Savage offers a Christ-centered exploration of how yoga, scripture, and stillness can work together to support a deeper relationship with God. She creates clarity by addressing common concerns, emphasizing that yoga is not a replacement for faith, but a tool that helps cultivate awareness, discipline, and presence in daily life. Through this lens, practices like movement, breath, and stillness become meaningful ways to reconnect with the body and experience God more fully.

Drawing parallels between biblical teachings and the principles of yoga, she highlights how values like love, truth, self-control, and surrender are already foundational to both. This session invites participants to move beyond simply understanding these principles and begin to embody them—through how they breathe, move, and create space for stillness. Ultimately, it’s an invitation to release the pressure to choose between practices and instead embrace an integrated approach to living a Christ-centered life.
