- to accept familiar interpretations without questioning them
- to see questions and doubt as signs of weak faith
- to read Scripture without considering whose voices or experiences may be missing
- to measure faithfulness by having the right answers
Over time, we can become so familiar with what we’ve been told Scripture says that we stop approaching it with curiosity.
But what if returning to these stories with new questions doesn't mean abandoning our faith?
What if it gives us an opportunity to discover just how expansive love can be?

Love Is Good Religion by pastor and public theologian Trey Ferguson invites readers to return to Scripture with curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to see familiar stories through a fresh lens.
Through his New Living Treyslation and personal commentary, Trey challenges us to reconsider what we think we already know and explore what Scripture reveals about love, liberation, community, and human wholeness.
Together, we’ll engage in thoughtful discussion and personal reflection as we wrestle with the text, learn from one another, and explore what it means to practice a faith where love isn’t just something we believe in, it’s something we live.

Meet your Facilitator
Queen Robertson is a yoga educator, facilitator, and founder of Flow in Faith, a Christ-centered wellness community creating space for people to explore faith through movement, reflection, rest, and community.
Her own faith journey has included asking difficult questions, revisiting long-held beliefs, and discovering that curiosity doesn’t have to pull us away from God it can invite us into a deeper and more expansive relationship with Them.
As the facilitator of this study, Queen isn’t here to give you the “right” interpretation or tell you what to believe. She’ll create space for thoughtful conversation, honest questions, different perspectives, and the beautiful work of wrestling with Scripture together.

Do I need to read the entire book before we begin?
No. We'll move through the book together. You'll receive a reading schedule so you'll know what to read before each weekly gathering.
Do I need to purchase the book separately?
Yes. Each participant is responsible for purchasing their own copy of Love Is Good Religion.
What if I can't attend every weekly gathering?
That's okay. Sessions will be recorded, and registered participants will have access to the replays.
